Rendr exists to end the chaos of scattered data - so leaders can see what matters and act with confidence.
Rendr started after delivering a high-stakes dashboard for a mine site leadership team who needed clear operational visibility - without the cost, delay, or complexity of heavyweight BI and ERP projects.
We saw firsthand how spreadsheets and disjointed apps slow decisions, create risk, and bury signal in noise. The same principles that solved their problem guide everything we build today.
Now we help businesses of all sizes - from growing SMEs to global industrial operations - replace chaos with clarity through focused, purpose-built dashboards.
Our Focus
Rendr builds custom dashboards, data platforms and integrations for mining and heavy industry, based in Emerald in Central Queensland.
Most of our work sits in and around the Bowen Basin, helping operations, commercial, and leadership teams move from scattered spreadsheets and contractor systems to one version of the truth.
We focus on:
Custom dashboards that operators and leaders actually use day-to-day
APIs and integrations between systems like Simpro, SharePoint, Power BI and internal tools
Internal web software that supports critical workflows instead of fighting them
We're a small, technical team - you work directly with the people designing and building your systems, not an account-manager layer.
Our approach
Our mission is to help operators get to one version of the truth by building robust dashboards, integrations and internal tools that match how work actually happens on site.
That shows up in a few ways:
Numbers have to match what's happening on site, not just the data model.
Dashboards and tools designed around real decisions and workflows, not around the source systems.
Clear architecture, documentation and monitoring so systems stay understandable and supportable.
Emerald-based and prefer ongoing support over one-off projects.
The team

Co-founder, Delivery & Data Platforms
Jason grew up in Emerald and started Rendr after working as an electrician and then a software engineer building web applications and data platforms.
Today Jason leads delivery and client relationships, working with mining and industrial operators across the Bowen Basin and wider Queensland coal region. He focuses on understanding how work actually runs on site, then turning that into clear scopes, data models, and dashboards.

Co-founder, Principal Engineer
Ben is a Brisbane-based engineer originally from Emerald, with experience across full-stack web development and distributed computer systems.
Before Rendr, Ben worked as a Senior Blockchain Engineer at Labrys, and as a developer at Auxita and Data#3, building production systems in TypeScript and high-reliability backends. At Rendr, Ben leads engineering - from API design and data pipelines through to production dashboards and observability.
